About

I’m a kids’ photographer because let’s face it, I’m a big kid. When your kiddos meet me, they’ll probably ignore you for a while. They’ll play with me, answer my questions, and laugh at my jokes.  We’ll jump around, spin in circles, yell and sing at the top of our lungs, and be our goofy selves! Even shy kids warm up to me in no time, and my portraits convey that connection.

Hey! Here’s me!

You’ll love the finished product: the album we create together. My favorite portrait collection contains such an album, and rings in at $899. Other portrait collections start at $399, and include a variety of prints and products.

Look at the pretty books!!!!

I love books – not just photo books; but old books that smell of time. I like reading scary books, anything that makes me think and open my mind, and young adult series (yep – my son and I trade books!). I love kids – have I said that yet?! – Their personalities are so enlightening and refreshing! They tell you their reality and don’t hold back on what they see. I love hearing kids laugh; especially when they’re laughing together. Brothers and sisters playing together make my heart full <3 I’m not a big fan of mean/rude/unhappy people. Seriously, I just don’t get it! I understand bad days and being short when you’re stressed – it happens. But choosing to be crabby all the time when you don’t have to be…. why?! I love driving nowhere/anywhere – by myself! I’m an introvert, and with my boys, there is always noise in my house! Those times when I can get away by myself, even for just a tiny bit; I love those times! I drive with the windows down and my radio completely silent… or blasting super loud while I sing along! I like playing games on my phone/ipad when I get some free time! And Netflix!!  I binge watch series and movies while I edit. 🙂

And this is my family… We like to do really fun stuff at our portrait sessions!!

“Draw a crazy picture,
Write a nutty poem,
Sing a mumble-gumble song,
Whistle through your comb.
Do a loony-goony dance
‘Cross the kitchen floor,
Put something silly in the world
That ain’t been there before.”
Shel Silverstein (AKA – My favoritest author ever!)
